ERIN CULLEN, FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
Erin has had many different jobs throughout her life but one common thread has been her love for dogs. The first animal endeavor she started was an indoor dog park in Seattle, WA, designed for rescue dogs that couldn’t handle all the stimulation of playing outside or with other dogs. She later moved to MA with her infant daughter and dreamed of someday rescuing dogs. Eventually, she began volunteering at a local shelter and fell in love with the work, feeling like she was making a real difference in the lives of the dogs. It’s also where she met Chloe. Erin found her calling in giving Chloe the love, care, and medication needed to prolong her life. Erin completed an entrepreneurship course and developed the business plan for Little Oldies. Erin is the founder and president of Little Oldies, Inc., managing the day-to-day operations as well as the hands-on care for all the senior dogs in residence, as well as her own dogs. Erin lives in Hamilton with her daughter and their dogs Violet (9), Lilly (13), Dorothy (10), Trixie (13), and Felix (5).

ELIZABETH HARDY, TREASURER
Elizabeth has been an animal lover her whole life and thought she might grow up to be a veterinarian one day. That dream went away over time but the love for animals just grew stronger. Elizabeth had cats as a child, rats as a teenager, fish as a new parent, and now ferrets and dogs as an adult! Elizabeth is the type of dog owner that lets their dogs under the blanket and is almost a little hurt when they don’t feel like joining her on the bed. Elizabeth has traveled the country but usually calls Southern Arizona home. She is a jack of all trades but currently pays the bills as a social worker for the State of Arizona. Her love of animals has been passed along to her son, Caden, who has never met a dog he didn’t love and wants to adopt. Elizabeth can’t wait to see Little Oldies provide older dogs a loving, warm, soft home to finish out their days. Elizabeth is excited to be part of an organization with such a simple and pure purpose of giving those little old dogs a place to call home.
MEREDITH FREED, CLERK
Meredith is a passionate advocate for justice and worked as a civil litigator and attorney for more than a decade. Meredith lives in Swampscott with her husband, Andrew, and son, Ryan (16). She has owned a number of dogs throughout her life, instigated by receiving her Irish Setter, Phoenix, as a fourth birthday gift. Every dog she has owned in her adult life has been adopted from a rescue organization; her current dog, Luna, joined Meredith’s family in 2021. Her abilities to strategize, organize, and brainstorm plans in developing and implementing the necessary steps towards achieving set goals will be an asset to Little Oldies. Meredith has served on a number of committees in her communities over time to establish benefits for the common good. Meredith is a proud, founding committee member for the Swampscott Farmers Market, now operating for over a decade. Meredith is very excited to help Little Oldies achieve its goals to provide small, older dogs with the love and dignity they deserve at the end of their lives.
